Terms of Service

1. Service Description

Bodega is an AI-powered greeting card creation service. You provide inputs (occasion, tone, recipient name), and we use artificial intelligence to generate personalized card messages and illustrations. After payment, a unique shareable URL is created for your card.

2. Digital Goods

Cards purchased through Bodega are digital goods. Upon payment, your card is generated and a permanent URL is created. Because digital goods are delivered instantly and cannot be "returned," all sales are final.

3. Refund Policy

Due to the nature of digital goods, refunds are generally not available. However, if you experience a technical error that prevents your card from being generated or delivered, contact us and we will either regenerate your card or issue a refund at our discretion.

4. AI-Generated Content

Messages and images are generated by AI models. While we strive for high quality, we cannot guarantee that every output will perfectly match your expectations. You have the opportunity to review and edit your message before payment.

You may not use this service to generate content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable.

5. Card Persistence

Card URLs are intended to remain active indefinitely. However, we reserve the right to remove cards that violate these terms or contain prohibited content.

6. Donations (Phase 2)

Optional donations made after card purchase are processed by Every.org. Bodega does not receive any portion of the donation amount. Tax receipts are issued by Every.org or the receiving charity, not by Bodega.

7. Intellectual Property

AI-generated card images and messages created through this service are provided for your personal, non-commercial use. You may share card URLs freely. The Bodega brand, logo, and platform are proprietary.

8. Limitation of Liability

Bodega is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of this service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the specific card in question.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
